What differentiates Ducray Laboratoires Dermatologiques from other dermatology brands is their history and unwavering dedication to quality medicinal products. The challenge was to create a brand for their Sensinol line that keeps a competitive edge but also retains tradition and appeal to a generally older audience.
My solution was in the beauty of a pearl. The pearl is a natural symbol that alludes to the idea of cleanliness, health, and meticulous craftsmanship in Ducray’s products. One could even compare Ducray’s customers to pearls themselves. Rather than seeing age as something negative, the pearl is a way to positively represent the beauty that comes with age.
